Aus zahlreichen Einzelteilen ergibt sich bei einem Puzzle ein vollständiges Bild. Fehlen Puzzleteile, empfinden wir das Motiv nicht mehr als ansehnlich und der komplette Eindruck ist kaputt. Ebenso verhält es sich auch bei unseren Zähnen, die nur vollständig ein ansprechendes Gesamtbild ergeben. Wie bei fehlenden Puzzleteilen wecken auch fehlende Zähne einen negativen Eindruck: Die Zähne sind nicht mehr ansprechend und das ganze Selbstvertrauen verschwindet plötzlich.
